A tasteful event
I get all excited when I’m asked to photograph a great event. I love learning, meeting new people and being part of the whole experience of the day. Workshops are one of my favourites, to come away from a day shooting with new knowledge & inspiration, – what can be better than that? I knew this would be the case when Deborah asked me to do the photography of her Wellness ROCKS’s Cookery Days.

To learn that making & eating healthy food can be so easy, so delicious & so much fun is like being given a new opportunity in life.
Deborah is an absolute inspiration, her teaching style is so much fun & her depth of knowledge seems limitless. I want to share with you the photos from my day with Debs and her students, to give you a sense of what it was like to be there. Unfortunately this blog comes without smell & taste samples but i can assure you the entire day was an absolute delight for the culinary senses.
For me, working with Deborah has been life changing. I honestly thought I was eating healthy & that “health food” was just another way to get consumers to spend more money. My diet would predominately be made up of brown bread, pasta & of course ‘the spud’ together with ready meals or tasty ‘out of the jar make it yourself in a jiffy’ options. Before I met Deborah, I didn’t even know that I only liked soft fruit. I had an idea that foods & moods were linked, but I was blown away with how food really affects us & how easy & tasty it is to whip up a health treat – like home made chocolate – not just gluten free but guilt free 🙂
